The bill wasn’t sewn on symmetrically with the logo, so it feels and looks kind of crooked.

Too small. The cap runs small.

This hat worked out well, it’s shape is somehow improved over some of the other Carhart offerings. When I say improved, I mean it is somewhat taller, maybe just 1/2”, but it makes a big difference. According to the label it’s made in Vietnam and made of 100% cotton but that’s the only identifying marking that suggests it is different from the other hats made by Carhart. Believe me it was just random luck that I picked this particular hat but I wish they were all made this way.

Fits well on my head and the sides are comfortable against my ears. Also, I like the velcro adjustability of the strap.

Great cap. It’s lightly structured but still fits and feels like an unstructured “dad hat”. Dad hat meaning that the front panels are relaxed fit and do not stay bulging out with a fixed shape like sports team caps, it conforms to the shape of your head.<br /><br />Because of this unstructured/lightly structured fit, it doesn’t get in the way of ear protection during specific training environments.<br /><br />Or if you don’t care about all the above technical details, it’s just a super comfortable casual everyday cap.

Had to take a chance at the ridiculously low price. <br />I bought two of them, and couldn’t be happier.

Nice hat. The bill is sturdy, and the 100% cotton makes it comfortable to where, even in warmer weather. Wish they were made in the USA.

I would love to see it with a larger brim to keep the sun off my face a little more. Probably just me, but I feel like the the hat should cover more of my temple area. I got several compliments on the color. I realize that inventory control is vital to all retailers, but I prefer to wear hats that are my size without the Velcro.

Bought this hat in the tan color. After a few says of wearing it outside in the heat, my sweat stained the brim. I tried washing the hat with shout and laundry detergent with no luck. Its a hat for work so not the end of the world. Just disappointed

I got a hat for every family member. Mine was the only one that faded after the first wash. It looks like it's a year old now and I've never worn it once. I washed it on delicate in a hat washing plastic protector with delicate baby detergent. The hat fits nicely but I'm just disappointed that the faded part is right in the front. I ordered the rosewood color.

I bought two different color hats and they both came with a different sized brim.

I'm still on the fence with this one. What the hat in the pic looks like, and what you get in real life are two different things. I expected the tough, rugged canvas material that your other products are made from. This is a more "soft" fabric. Unfortunately, with what I do, this cap won't last long. I need one that will last. The one I got looks to be more for "social " gatherings, not so much a work hat. Just be careful when ordering.

Little creased from shipping but what can ya do. Colors great fits great super soft and keeps the sun out of my eyes… the real test will be this summer when I’m outside and how it does with sweat.

Great hat. Well made with good materials, just as you would expect from Carhart. The crown seems a little deeper than some of my other hats, so it fits my big noggin better.

A shallow fit. It lays tight to the top of the scalp.

The cap keeps my head at a nice even temperature but not too hot. The only drawback is the Velcro adjustment grabs my coat collar. Annoying but practical.

Ordered the Jasper color and got it today! Really cool darker orange color and I love it. I have 6 different colors of Carhartt hats and they are all amazing! Tourmaline (discontinued) is still my fav. Hope they bring it back.

I love wearing ball caps, especially on the days when I'm too lazy to wash my long hair, or when I know I'll be spending a lot of time outdoors. But as a woman I have a hard time finding ones that are good quality and fit well. I have a little collection of hats I've bought over the years but honestly, none of them are "just right". I recently decided to purchase one of these to show my support for the actions that Carhartt has taken to protect their employees and customers. Well, my hat arrived today and I can honestly say it's the best cap I've ever owned. I feel like I finally found my "just right" hat. I'm about to order a few more in different colors, because I can never have too many hats to grab on my way out the door. These are so comfortable and they fit my head like a glove. They aren't too floppy but not too firm and stiff, either. I ordered the Army Green and the color is exactly as shown in the picture. I plan on donating most of my old, ill-fitting hats and just keeping a few of these ones around to wear all the time. Highly recommend!!

My favourite hat of all time! They work great forwards and backwards and fit absolutely amazingly!

Love these caps! They fit great and the canvas washes very easily. I wear them when I play pickleball and they absorb the sweat. Then I put a little clothes soap in the sink, give them a little rub/scrub and hang them up. They dry overnight. Yes, they fade but I love that about them.

Carhartt changed it from the old version of the Canvas Cap. The old version was perfect and I wanted another one of it because I owe it so many times, its all worn out now. This new version is floppy which it does not slim to my head like the old version did. The visor of the cap is not as long, and it's wider as the old version. The visor being longer protected my eyes while working on the farm and while going out to practice shooting. Bullets never touched the safety glasses because it always hit the corner of the visor. I would give Carhartt 5 stars on the original version of the Canvas Cap but not this new version. Please someone tell me they're going back to the original version. It was my favorite hat.

Nice hat as expected, only thing I do not like is the Velcro adjustment strap it's a pain in the ass, adjusting the size by the way it was with the snap fit <br />strap was much easier, no guessing, just move to the snap hole you want and DONE! With the Velcro you're readjusting 6 times to get the hat to fit right, I wouldn't have bought it had I known before hand, live and learn!

Take note, this is not the Odessa cap, but looks very similar. This hat is a very poor replacement for the Odessa cap. The Odessa cap was bigger (which was great for me because I have a larger head). The material is also quite flimsy compared to the Odessa. The Odessa has some weight to it while this cap seem thin in comparison. Really disappointed that this replaced the Odessa.

Robust materials solidly constructed make this my preferred cap in all kinds of weather. If it had ear flaps I’d wear it in the cold! Exactly what you’d expect from this venerable company.

Bought for my husband and he loves it.

I haven’t had the chance to wear it during the hot hot months but for late summer and fall and the little bit of winter we’ve had its very comfortable and seems to be very durable. It’s definitely become my go to hat no matter the occasion.

He did get some sweat marks on it from working in the garden, walking, etc. I just bought him two more and I believe they are "sweat" proof. Well made and he really likes them. He's 63 and my 28 year old saw them when they were delivered and wanted them. So, they are liked by all ages.

Usually I wouldn't write a review for a product but I love these hats. Though my ratings may seem unrealistic because they are all 5 stars, but I can assure you it's the truth. I have been gifted three different colors and have purchased another myself. Some of the more vibrant colors are less vibrant in person. An example of this is French Blue. I thought this hat screamed frat boy before I was gifted one. The color is much more relaxed in person. Also, these hats are great for casual wear or work/exercise. I've actually washed my hat a few times and it keeps its shape and stitching like no other hat I've had. Hopefully they get barn red back in soon!

I love this hat. It is made of a nice fabric, it fits well, and has tight stiches. Overall i know this hat wont fall apart anytime soon. I got mine in black so it wouldnt reflect the light back into my eyes. If i had to point out a problem it would be the button on top. The button is only there because of fashon but i think utility is more important. Nothing is worse than hitting your head on something while your wearing a hat and that button transferring all that force into one point. I wish that button is removed but since every hat ever has the same thing i cant dock the rating for it.

This is the sportiest, best fitting hat I’ve ever found. In fact, I ordered one in every color! It’s hard to find a good fitting hat for my big bald dome, but my search is over! Great fit, great style, great value!

If you're looking for a quick review, stop reading now and buy the cap, you won't be disappointed.<br /><br />Now the rest of the review, I bought my first cap a few years ago as an impulse buy when I purchased a pair of work pants. This cap immediately became my favorite, I like the low profile of the cap, exceptional comfort of the cap and it's ability to absorb the copious amount of sweat produced from my head and keeping it from running into my eyes. This sweat stained, sun bleached cap is my favorite and I still wear it every day. The only reason I purchased another cap is so when I take my wife on a hot date to the local drive-in she won't complain about me wearing that filthy cap.

I keep two around- a nice one that I wear off the farm and one I buy one at the beginning of every farming season- the sun bleaches the color right out of it come October. I imagine the darker colors have some more staying power, but it's a great hat. Serves its function.

It’s fits to small, i don’t know if it’s that the back isn’t polyester, or knit, but it’s just to small. I feel like if I wear it to or after work, it will just fly off. I ordered the brown cap, and I thought it’d be darker. I’d rate this 1 star but the cap looks good in quality and I like Carhartt. Just disappointed

A fine hat. Pretty standard. Note the velcro strap rather than a leather clip or snapback. <br />Black is a pure black (darker than pictured IMO). <br /><br />All in all - a solid plan cap. <br />I’m wearing it right now.

Hard for me to find hats that fit my 7 7/8 head, these do.<br />the issue is quality control is low, 3 out of 4 I have purchased have bills that are slightly off centered.

I purchased an Odessa cap and am extremely happy with it. It looks good and I have to say that it is the most comfortable cap I have ever worn. Looks to be very durable as well. Will be buying more for sure!

I have multiple colors of this hat because it is perfect for working, as well as wearing out casually. The moisture-wicking band in the inside is very nice and sucks up sweat so it isn't dripping on you while you're working.<br />The simple C patch is nice because it shows the branding of the company, but is not flashy at all.

It was for my boyfriend who had the same one for three years and it was getting some tears. So since he wanted the same one it must be the best hat ever!

This hat is great quality, as I wear it everyday for work during spring/summer. It tends not to have a rounded baseball hat look on top when pulled tight to fit. Nevertheless, this hat does fit well and I do recommend it.

I love the hat it is everything I had expected, great price for a high quality hat, I knew purchasing the hat that the strap on the back would be Velcro, but if I were designing a hat I would prefer a snap back style hat. All in all it’s a great hat with good style and would recommend it to others.

Good fit and sturdy construction, but color is misleading. The hat is labeled as black but is noticeably a medium-dark shade of grey.

I have had my Carhartt hat for just over a year now and it still looks and smells like new. It is very comfortable too. I often have trouble finding hats that fit just right and this one fits great. This is the second one I have owned. I enjoy the style and fits well. This is not necessarily a reflection on just Carhartt hats, but in general hats fade too fast. I do wish hat companies would improve their quality standards so that hats did not fade so quickly.
