I wear a cap everyday and I have went through my share of every style, brand, and type of ball cap. These are my go to for work, or everyday wear. You can wash them 20 times and they keep looking and fitting better each time! Great cap!!

I love it. Affordable, adjustable and the blue color I choose brings out the blue in my eyes. It’s a Christmas gift to myself, so under the tree it will go …can’t to wear it next summer 2023.
Doesn’t at all look like the photo and collects way too much dust/hair to be worn. Wish I would have saved my money.
It does not look aged like in the picture, the quality is fine, but It is a dark black unlike the picture.

I'm on my third hat, love the color and fit. Wears really well and is cool in the summer time. I work road construction and it fits under the hard hat nice. Wish you made this hat in a pale yellow (pale sun) if so I would buy one.

It’s a great looking hat, great quality as always but i was disappointed it wasn’t the faded washed our black form the pic. It looks just like a regular pigmented black. Maybe over time it would fade like tht but i wanted it like tht from the get go. Just wish the pic was updated.

When I put this hat on I had to laugh. It instantly made me look like a pro. I know that sounds ridiculous but it's true. People even react and respond to me differently when I wear this hat. Again, I know this sounds ridiculous, but there is something about this hat that changes my day. I guess it could be comparable to a woman wearing a red dress?? I have no idea, but there is something to it for sure.

The ability to adjust the size to fit plus its venting is a perfect asset as I work outside even as the weather gets colder. It has not stained as some of my other caps have which prompted, not my choice, for them to be discarded.

Fits a little bit smaller than expected.
Product lasted 1 week and then a snap busted on the one size I need it on. I reached out to customer support to inquire about this issue. They insisted that I mail in my damaged hat, which I had no issue with. I awaited 2 UPS mailing slips to my email and never received them. After not receiving the second I gave up. Disappointed in the quality of the product.

Love the cap, although in The picture I saw online before I bought it it appeared that the front was gray and only the mesh was black but when it came in the mail both the mesh and the front were both black. Great cap though!

My little boy wanted a hat to match mine - mine is a women's green, and he wanted cobalt blue. I couldn't find any in kids size so went with this men's hat. He's six years old and has close to an average sized head, I'd say. On nearly the smallest setting it fits his head well. He absolutely loves it and it looks so good on him. Glad I bought it!

I ordered the “black” one because it looked like grey in the photo (which my boyfriend had but a dog chewed up, so I was replacing. When it arrived it was a true black unfortunately. A bit disappointed in the color, but beside that he is happy with it.

This cap loses shape in the front as soon as its put on. It does not hold its shape. Im not a fan of this style but if you like the flat front hats, this is the one for you.

As Carhartt items go, they run roomy and comfortable. This hat is the complete opposite of that. It’s small, flimsy, and seems to be poor quality. I received this hat as a gift (which I asked for) but am very underwhelmed. I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come from Carhartt.

I've owned so many of these caps, I lost count. Gray, blue, black, navy, etc. One thing to note about this new black one is that it's a "true" black canvas with a black mesh back. My last one (same SKU number), was a "washed" black canvas. Looks like they've updated their design. The product photo still shows the old "washed" finish. Keep this in mind if you buy the new Black version. As of September 2020, it's a "true" black, much darker than the current website product photos.
Hats rugged gonna last awhile may not look like much already but nasty job i like the high visibility orange anything to be seen in the yard lots of grain trucks
When I first put this hat on it just felt right. The quality of the materials is great and the way that it's cut seems to fit me perfectly. I bought the black hat and it's darker than I thought it would be but that's no big deal.

Love the hat; second or third one. One issue; I ordered black expecting the grey with black mesh like the photo and I've bought before in stores. It arrived entirely black. Not a big deal or worth the return hassle, but worth mentioning if you're dead set on the color in the image.

Truly, I think the hat is fairly good to be a '1 size fits all' hat, yet I think the co would be better off to make the hats a bit smaller (shallower in depth) and also have the snap hinged instead of jutting in the fabric (leaves an uneven lump).

the black hat is 100% purple in person it doesn’t even look good with a black shirt it is so off. other than that it’s a really comfy and good fitting hat. i am considering just buying it in a different color because the black is definitely not black.

This hat is awesome. It is comfortable enough to wear every day, and it's simplicity brings along almost a sense of class to a work hat. I own 2, and I plan to purchase another, as I washed the first I ever owned recently to remove some set in stains, and the washer left a tear in the fabric on the bill. That being said, that particular hat was 6 years old and wasn't subject to the friendliest of environments. All in all, I've spent more hours in one of these hats than any other piece of headwear I own. Great product.

I like this one for the ventilation. My old one just plain wore out after a couple of years, so I got another to replace it. I will wear this all summer long. It's great for keeping the sun off the top of my head and lets the breeze in.

I love this hat! It is amazing quality and offers superb comfort. The only shortcoming of this hat (just my personal opinion, in no way reflecting on the craftsmanship) is that the crown is a little to short so it sits higher up on my head than I am used to. It wicks moisture away from my head while I am working which is nice so it's not dripping down my face constantly! Overall would absolutely recommend this hat! And it is a fantastic price too!

PLEASE READI’ve had many many buffalo style caps and othe styles of carhartt caps but one of my last caps (burnt olive) -which I’ve had for about 3 days -the size adjustment strap broke the other night under the stitching like it was down too hard or deep.... wondering about a replacement... I can’t seem to fix it. Is this possible please?!?

I am disabled and have to watch out for the heat on my medications. This hat does the job and is washable. When I return to normal work once I am healed, I will remember to go only Carhartt for my manual labor clothing(James 4:13-17).
I own three of these. The tan, the green, and the grey. They fit great and last a long time (going on 2 years of having them). I wear them for all my outdoor work around the house. They do fade, but honestly they look pretty good faded, personally. I would say it fades to about 70% of the original color.
I bought this hat and have loved wearing it. I've used it at work, the gym, and just all around. It didn't lose its fit after washing it like many other hats

I had a hat like this for almost 15 years before it fell apart on me finally when the wife decided to wash the work off of it. The best part was the bill held its form the whole time. I don’t ever remember having to adjust it at all like some of the newer hats out there with the flimsy bills or the new flat brimmed ones. The hat held up very well in all aspects and they are fairly priced to me as well.

I have a hard time finding a hat that fits. Most one size fits all hats are too big for my smaller crown. These fit perfectly, so I ordered several! Also, they are very comfortable.

I have owned this cap for a few months and really like it. The fit, look and style are all the things I was looking for except one. The website shows that this item supposedly comes in Army Green, though I have never seen one. I even signed up to be notified when item comes in stock, so I was guessing a few weeks, but a few months later, it still shows out of stock. I even have a Carhartt store very close by and stop in regularly to check to no avail. Come on Carhartt. if you've discontinued it, that's one thing, but to mislead people is quite another. Either take color off of website or find a new vendor that makes your Buffalo Cap. Wound up getting Tan one. Still nice cap overall but companys advertising needs to be desired.

I lost this exact hat on my husband's boat because I ran out of the cabin without my hood on. I was so upset but we were going after caribou and that was more important. The had is breathable and comfortable.

I like the look and concept of the hat but it doesn't fit very securely. The hat isn't deep enough, meaning that it doesn't fit securely around my head, rather just sits on top of it. As such, it doesn't fit securely - blows off in windy conditions.

I never write reviews, but in this case I thought that I would express my happiness with this hat. I like hats that fit fully around the head and are adjustable with the snap back. This hat fits perfectly, looks great, and has been put through sweat, rain, etc. and has stood up perfectly. Has replaced my old favorite hat as my new favorite hat for work and leisure. <br /><br />You can't go wrong buying this hat.

This hat is also a great and comfortable fit for women who have trouble fitting in men's or size fits all hats. I have a smaller head and usually have to find women's specific hats which never seem to look as good as the men's hats.

I love this hat. Its fits my head perfect. Keep in mind I have a Short haircut. Military style. This hat is fitted right to my head just they way I like. I don't like large baseball caps that sit high on your head. I usually don't wear hats a lot for that reason but this one fits so good I've been wearing it all the time.
