The FR Force Cotton Long-Sleeve T-Shirt features:
The shirts are very nice looking and generously sized. These were purchased for my grandson who is starting a 4 year welding course at Ferris State and this was a requirement of the school. Since he is only a couple of weeks into the school year he has not had to wear these yet so we are not able to give any further review.
Unfortunately I believe I may be allergic to the treatment that’s used to make them Flame resistant. After washing them several times I passed them along to my nephew and also a coworker.
My husband is a lineman and he says these shirts are comfortable to wear.
Excellent quality, good fit, and the fabric breathes and is comfortable.
For the price? Don't bother. Unless you want to sport the "Carhartt" logo for kicks, this shirt is not worth it.<br /><br />I used it for some tack welding, where I didn't require putting on my welding jacket. It was either that or the grinding that put a large hole in my shirt within the first 10 minutes of wearing it.<br /><br />You're better off buying 2-3 shirts for less money of a different brand as those will last you longer than this one.<br /><br />Customer service simply said "sorry".

I bought two and they both shrunk after first wash. I mean the appearance is nice. I followed instructions on label. I DID NOT put in the dryer. I laid them out on a table to dry and they both shrunk. Now they are folded in a box in my husbands closet no longer able to be worn. I am very upset forming $160 plus and he was only able to wear them the one time.
Waste of money<br />First time I wore I got burns marks everywhere from grinding a piece of metal <br />My regular shirts don’t even do that
The fit is perfect and the shirt feels very durable. You can tell you are wearing a quality made FR shirt

Awesome work wear
I accidentally bought a large on this one when I would normally buy an xl of other brands. The fit was perfect.<br />I've had other shirts that had odd proportions, sleeves were too long and chest was too narrow, that sort of thing. This one fits perfectly and is very comfy.<br />Also it is long enough to stay tucked well.
It works really well
As expected with Carhartt, perfect shirt in every way. I use the Fr shirts for welding and also just work in general and one of the most comfortable shirts to wear especially when i have to work outside in the brutal Florida heat. No complaints here. Thank You Carhartt for always meeting my expectations of your work products!

I wore brand new for a few days before washing. Shirt was bigger and longer than a normal 3x size. But after a washer and dryer cycle it fits perfect. I usually air dry my shirts to avoid shrinkage. But with this shirt I’m able to dry in a dryer and it won’t shrink like a regular 3x. 3x tall. (If you need it ) from carhartt is great !
Very comfortable. It is cotton so it will shrink after you wash it so recommend getting a size that’s a little bigger. Well made.

Bought this for overhead line working with my military discount. Comfortable shirt for about the 2 hours it lasted. After that the shirt came apart at the seems on the left arm sleeve. No wash, no dry. Just started falling apart... Need better quality if you're dishing out this money for FR.

I bought these shirts for my husband. He loves them. He is a very big guy and they fit him perfectly. He wears a 3XLT. Please don’t ever stop making them. They’re a little spendy but worth every penny. Top quality.
Bought this for my fiance since he works in the refineries and he said it was the best feeling in a shirt. He never felt too hot in it. Was light weight so it allowed him to be comfortable in it all day.

We buy these for certain job sites we have to work on and they are perfect. It meets our FR clothing requirements, the clothes are durable and hold up nicely. The washing requirements are important.

This is a great quality shirt. My only issue is it seems to run a little small around the wrists, but other then that it fits fine.
I am really disappointed in the durability and quality of this T-shirt. I've had it for six months now and there are small wear holes showing up all over the body of the shirt. They get washed every week, so they are used a lot. But I hoped they would last longer. I will have to purchase again soon coming into spring and summer. I had hoped to get at least a year out of these T's.

I bought shirts at G and L Clothing. They fit true to size and are comfortable. When washed they do not shrink. I also ordered another shirt on the web site.

I have ordered these shirts 3 different times and all have been good light weight cat 2 FR shirts, only down side is the stitching lets loose eventually on the bottom of the pocket and my stuff ends up falling out.

I feel like these may run 1 size larger than I normally would wear. I have felt other brand's FR clothing, but nothing is as light
I think the tshirt is great, its nice and light and comfortable for those hot summer days .the size is true to what it says and it shrinks a little when washed and dried. (So you might want to go one size bogger) just my opinion. The only thing im a little disappointed in is that its not very durable andbit stains .

I bought two of these shirts for work and they are very comfortable year round. They pair nicely with a hoodie or jacket in the cold weather and are cool enough in the summer. For me the shirt sizes ran a little small, so I would recommend getting one size bigger than you normally wear.
I been working on a rig for 13 years and this shirt is by far the most comfortable ever and is perfect for hot weather

I would actually give it a 4 3/4 stars but it is not offered. The only reason is because there is slight shrinkage if you dry it in a machine.
the carhartt line is the only line my husband will wear.. it washes wonderfully ..no shrinkage .. the color maintains its integrity and it wears very neatly and wonderfully . I love this product . hang it wet on the line on a nice day rainy day any day its still golden in the dryer its fabulous You can not beat the carhartt product for durability or pricing and or wear. I have been purchasing this product for over thirty years .. now that should tell you something
